The Ferry House Inn is appreciated for its excellent location and many rooms offering lovely views of the water and Brunel Bridge. Guests often mention the spacious and clean rooms, while the full English breakfast is another highlight, enjoyed with views of the River Tamar. While some guests experienced noise from the road or bar area, many find it provides good value for money. You can also find street parking next to the property.

mixed feelings about my stay

overcooked fish road noise
the room was clean and spacious enough for a short stay.
The food quality was unfortunately lacking. My fish was overcooked, and the accompanying vegetables were bland. also, i found the noise from the nearby road quite bothersome, especially since i had to keep the window open due to the warm weather. the traffic sounds persisted late into the night, disrupting my sleep.

The rooms were comfortable, good sized, modern, and also spotlessly clean. a little balcony offered a view over the river. This was an added bonus. the staff were very friendly and took time to get to know me. breakfast had plenty of choice. The varied menu in the evenings was a plus.
The bathroom was a little cramped. I found the bed very hard.

Riverside Romance

The location offered captivating views of the water and the iconic bridge. Parking was convenient, situated right next to the hotel. This ensured a worry-free arrival. The cute staff created a home-like atmosphere. I received a breakfast sandwich to take with me as I had an early start, a gesture I found very kind.
I noticed a thinner tog rating for the duvet might improve comfort during the summer months.
